SMET NHL 3.5 binder was again specially selected for the repointing works and internal restoration of an old 1764 cottage found on the 7th hole of historic Ardglass Golf Club.

bauprocalc KG – Hydraulic Lime-Based Skim Coat, bauprocalc 830 – Hydraulic Lime-Based Render/Plaster, and SMET NHL 3.5 were also selected for the internal plastering in the renovation of the historic building refurbishment of The Seamus Heaney Centre in QUB Belfast. This consisted of the Scud Coat: SMET NHL 3.5,  followed by the Base Coat: bauprocalc 830, and finished with our Finish Skim: bauprocalc KG.

In Spring 2024, SMET sustainable mortars were again specially selected in the sympathetic restoration, and conservation of an old former National School in idyllic Omeath, Co Louth, Ireland.

Constructed in 1882, this 19th-century property originally served as a National School for the local area, the Cooley Peninsula.

SMET NHL 3.5 was used for the external rendering and basecoats for the internal plastering, which was finished with bauprocalc KG Hydraulic Lime-Based Skim Coat. Additionally, a new extension was internally plastered with Prooftherm lime base insulating Render/Plaster and finished with bauprocalc KG.
