2nd Phase Started at Aldi Logistics Centre in Mitchelstown

Together with our partners Fast Floor Screed Ltd and Kilsaran Silomix, we recently started work on this extensive 50,000.00 m² project. After months of preparation and technical meetings with main contractor BAM Building and German based architect KZA.

For the levelling of 2,300.00 m² of cold storage, Cemdure 110 was supplied by SMET and installed by Fast Floor Screed Ltd

For the installation of a floating screed in combination with thermal and acoustic insulation over 2,000.00 m², Sudanit 280 Alpha Hemihydrate Binder Compound was supplied by SMET to Kilsaran Silomix

The second phase of delivery commenced with application of 1,500.00 m² of C40 Alpha Hemi Hydrate Screed, produced by Kilsaran using industry leading SHG Sudanit 280 Binder and Smet’s unrivalled technical and customer support . Supplied to site in in Silo Mixing Stations, the screed is applied at 60mm in order to achieve a SR1 requirement.  Further details of the entire project can be viewed in SMET projects.
