SMET supplied a range of Streetscape® BS 7533 compliant materials including; bedding course, jointing and priming mortars to SMET Supported Partners, Hunter Construction (Aberdeen) Limited, who managed the regeneration of Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Description

Landscapes & Contracts Ltd continued the ongoing refurbishment of this well-known historical landmark in Greenock, Scotland. The 1,500 m2 Streetscape hard landscaping, which had to tie in sympathetically with the existing improvements, is part of the overall £300,000 refurbishment investment by Inverclyde Council, Riverside Inverclyde and Scottish Water.  SMET supplied quality BS 7533 compliant Streetscape mortars, a superior level of customer focus, site expertise and aftercare to install the natural granite stone paving on time and within budget.

Smet Building Products in partnership with Smet Supported Partner, Northstone (NI) Ltd, supplied BS 7533 compliant bedding course, jointing and priming mortars for the Banbridge Public Realm regeneration scheme, comprising of regeneration and laying of granite paving.  The project was installed in Rathfriland Street, a prime city centre location.  As part of the project, SMET supplied High Strength Bedding Concrete, the company’s BS7533 compliant bedding concrete. This is a superior quality – polymer modified High-Strength Bedding Concrete, manufactured under an ISO 9001 quality controlled environment; using dried sands, lime, cement and additives, specially designed to meet or exceed the requirements of BS 7533 part 7:2010.
